We won't be signing him, very unlikely we will be signing anyone.

David Sullivan does not want the club to succeed.

Yea im in should be just about ready when Antonio breaks down.

I’d rather bring anyone on than Yarmolenko, so that’s not saying much.

Re: Diego Costa - Free Agent
Costa had a fuck load of protection for his antics at Chelsea....he won't get that with us...bit like Carroll never did when he ever got to play...

Re: Diego Costa - Free Agent
If he passes his medical I'd have him for 4 months easy.
Look at Cavani at Man U. People think everyone over 30's over the hill. Class is class. It's just that they sometimes cant play 90. Thats fine.

Would you rather bring Diego Costa on or Yarmalenko for the last 15 minutes?

"Could" is an interesting word.

If you replace with "Will" and add ... "when we kidnap him at gunpoint" then, yes, it could.

His weight balloons when not playing, waste of time taking 2 months to get match fit

It would be entertaining / funny probably with old Diego getting really frustrated playing for West Ham but with the alleged improved team spirit and togetherness , not the best idea having this loon around :-)

The man is an absolute cunt, so it's a yes for me.

Re: Diego Costa - Free Agent
Just read Jorge Mendez is his agent and he's the one pulling all the strings at Wolves, so if he's going anywhere for 6 months, it will be there. Moyes will push for Josh King at £5m.

Talking of which, I'm not sure why, but when thinking of King, I had a flashback to Moyes signing Marcus Bent at Everton and it seems a very similar type signing.

In fact, now everyone can see that Moyes is now trying to recreate that Everton side of 2004/05 with us, after he signs King, the next signing will be a James Beattie style lone front man!

The key player he is still missing is a Tim Cahill ...looking at successful Moyes teams of the past, he most certainly isn't much a of a flair lover, not surprised to see our bench usually filled with our only creative players Lanzini, Benrahma, Yarmolenko etc.

Re: Diego Costa - Free Agent
apparently he cant go to a CL or la liga club without paying massive compensation.

So I could see him at a club outside the top 6 here maybe. I'd take him for 6 months.

If you are going to go a for a free striker then Wilfred Bony is available

Re: Diego Costa - Free Agent
You may well be right but Costa has scrapped 6 months of his existing contract to play games.

I’m sure he’ll pick lower wages for a chance to play while he can do a club desperate for a striker is likely to get him...

Wolves then...

his wages alone means he will not be coming to us

Re: Diego Costa - Free Agent
Has all the hallmarks of a sulllvan signing, but I think even he might give costa a wide berth. There must be a few other washed up has beens that we can tempt on a free for lower wages.

geoffpikey 4:29 Wed Dec 30
Re: Diego Costa - Free Agent
He's on £270k PW. Even if his tax rate is over 50%. Still, if he's FREE...

Notes: Jack Wilshere is also a free agent! Sulli LOVES a freebie.

I actually assumed this was another WHO comedy thread.

Re: Diego Costa - Free Agent
His wages will be huge and he is always injured , perfect a step backwards , we are 10th what will we achieve with Costa 9th . Move on and get younger fitter players plus make sure the likes of Rice are the clubs best paid .

angryprumphs 2:19 Wed Dec 30
Re: Diego Costa - Free Agent
Normally I would give this one a massive wide berth but given our current situation I would consider him. All depends on Antonio's cursed hamstrings though, as he is first choice, sounds weird to say it but Costa is not in his class these days.
